One of the results of elevated exposure to Western influences has been the unfold of drug use amongst Nigerian young folks during the last two decades. There’s now a buoyant shopper marketplace for residence-grown cannabis, and a smaller market for heroin and cocaine inside the country. This text, by giving voice to Nigerian drug users, is an attempt to dispel some misconceptions about drug use and abuse, and to widen the debate surrounding African drug management. He was released in December 2016, after serving eight years. “When I was writing for top Times, I don’t think I ever used a person’s real identify or location for a pot story,” says former editor-in-chief Peter Gorman. “Now, with marijuana authorized in a number of states and other people wanting to put their names throughout it, I feel those rules have changed. Still, I’d go together with warning, because the Feds might just decide to come back down on growers even in states the place it’s legal.
