captain and Blues supporter Mathew Ryan has attempted a sideline conversion ahead of Origin kickoff as a pre-game roleplay – and the veteran goalkeeper nailed it.
The 2023 State of Origin series kicks off in on Wednesday night and it’s arguably the most evenly poised of any in recent memory.
Ryan, who was born in and played his junior footy with Marconi and Blacktown, is a loyal Blues supporter and komunitas slot gacor took to social media to inspire the team.
In a video posted to Instagram, Ryan stands on the sidelines ready to kick a conversion and talks to the camera.
‘Cleary’s been taken off with a HIA last minute,’ announced Ryan.

‘Up the Blues!’ shouted Ryan.
The kick invoked memories of Michael O’Connor’s iconic match winning conversion during game two of the 1991 State of Origin, and footy fans couldn’t get enough.
‘Can kick a lot better than most NRL players who claim they can kick,’ said one follower.

Blues fans have been worried this week after it was revealed Nathan Cleary was reportedly battling an infected tooth.
Latrell Mitchell was ruled out earlier this week with an injury to his calf and will be replaced by Stephen Crichton in the centres.
