Feyenoord director Dennis te Kloese has said the Dutch champions have not received an approach from Tottenham for head coach Arne Slot, but claims to have turned down his own offer to join the club.

Te Kloese told ‘ morning show ‘Goedemorgen Eredivisie’ that the club are yet to receive an approach from Spurs.
The Feyenoord official added that Slot had previously turned down a move to earlier this season.
‘No, there has been no request from Tottenham (for Slot),’ Te Kloese said.

‘In February, there was concrete interest from Leeds United, but we and Arne said, ‘no’ to that.Arne did not want to go to Leeds and I think that was a very good decision.
‘We went a long way with Arne, broke (renegotiated) his contract last year. We are more than satisfied with him and if there is interest in him, we will hear about it.
‘He [Slot] has a contract for two more years and this summer there is no release-clause in his contract, so we can say no if we want.
‘We have quite a good story here as well.Champions League next year, a lot of new players were signed last summer and they proved really good players in this team and their contracts also run for quite some years to come.’
