Introduction: Cricket is one of the most popular and widely followed sports around the world. With millions of cricket enthusiasts, the demand for cricket news has been increasing exponentially. The emergence of digital media has revolutionized the way cricket news is delivered to the audience. Traditional channels such as newspapers and television are still in use, but digital media has surpassed them in terms of reach and engagement.

This study aims to investigate the impact of digital media on the delivery and consumption of cricket news. Methodology: To conduct this study, data was collected from 100 cricket enthusiasts using a survey questionnaire. The survey was conducted both online and offline, and the participants were asked to rate the effectiveness of different modes of cricket news delivery. The data was then analyzed using statistical tools such as regression analysis and t-tests. Results: The results of this study indicate that digital media channels such as social media, online news portals, and mobile applications have overtaken traditional channels in terms of reach, accessibility, and audience engagement.

70% of the respondents rated digital channels as the most effective mode of cricket news delivery, while only 30% preferred traditional channels. This result is consistent with the trend observed in the media industry, where digital media is predicted to surpass traditional channels in terms of revenue growth and audience reach. The study also found that the younger generation is more likely to rely on digital media for cricket news, while the older generation is more inclined towards traditional channels.

The study further analyzed the impact of the different types of digital channels on cricket news delivery.
